Khaalee Haath Shaam Aayee Hai, 
Khaalee Haath Jaayegee

Empty handed has the evening come,
Empty handed shall she return.

Bare is this dark dye of the night
With your coming shall this path light.
If not wept clean tonight,
Morrow shall return the darkness of the night.
